Dozens of homes have been lost and it appears to be burning perilously close to our OHC retreat center and monastery, Mt. Calvary.

Keep watch, dear Lord, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give your angels charge over those who sleep.Tend the sick, Lord Christ; give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for your love's sake. Amen.

Mt. Calvary has burned. The brothers have been moved to Trinity Santa Barbara. At present I've heard from friends in SB that it was a total loss but it is unsubstantiated at the moment.
Please also pray for Westmont faculty and students who have lost homes, dorms, class buildings etc. And for those in SB who live in the lower income area where rebuilding their lives would be very challenging.
